At this point, most students have requested courses. If you have not yet chosen your courses for next year, please contact Ms. VanderMeulen at ger.vandermeulen@epsb.ca or call 780-469-1315 as soon as possible. Your final timetable will be determined by your final marks so the best advice is to keep working hard for the remainder of the term and to prepare thoroughly for your final exams in June.

During the summer you will be mailed an information package with procedures for the fall. Regular classes begin on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021. In late August you may also check Schoolzone for important updates.

It is also important to inform us if your address or phone number changes in the coming months so that we can ensure you receive all communication. Please contact Kelly Noel by email (kelly.noel@epsb.ca) or call 780-469-1315 ext 2320.

Once again, we extend a sincere welcome from the staff at W.P. Wagner School. Our commitment to success includes students, parents, and school staff working together to ensure that all students receive an excellent education and a fulfilling high school experience. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to W.P. Wagner High School,‌

W.P. Wagner is an exciting, caring, and innovative high school that strives to prepare all students for post-secondary studies, the world of work, community living, and other creative pursuits through the provision of exceptional programming in Academics, the Arts, Athletics, Student Leadership, and Career and Technology Studies.

We are proud of the rich variety of possibilities that we are able to offer such as our Advanced Placement programs and our new Architectural Engineering program. At W.P. Wagner, we also encourage students to become involved in our many extracurricular activities to further their skills, make new friends, and build lasting memories.

What makes our school unique is the strength of our exceptional staff, the vibrancy of our students, and the excellence that they achieve together. Our school community values diversity and supports all students regardless of their background, orientation, goals, or dreams. We have been fortunate to have had recent renovations to our building including our learning resource center, Architectural Engineering lab, greenhouse, collaborative east mall space, the addition of six new classrooms, gender-neutral washrooms, and physical education locker rooms.

Parents, staff, students, and the community work together to ensure that students realize their potential and develop the skills they need to be successful in life. We are proud of our positive and focused school community where individuals treat one another with respect.

Thank you for visiting our website and I would like to extend an open invitation for you to contact us for any additional information.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jennifer Allen
