Full in Planned Classes
For the 2026 - 2027 school year, W.P. Wagner School is full in planned classes in Grade 10 (STEM Regular) and Grade 12 in both the regular program and STEM program. We will continue to accept students in the STEM/Advanced Placement program in Grade 10, however we will no longer be accepting Grade 12 students in the STEM program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grade 12 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Students at W.P. Wagner have access to an exceptional range of academic, career-focused and extracurricular opportunities. Our programming includes the STEM Alternative Program, Advanced Placement, Robotics and Engineering, Campus AI, Career Cosmetology and Barbering, Work Experience and the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP). Our diverse academic, Career and Technology Studies, Fine Arts, athletics and options programming allows students to explore their passions while preparing for post-secondary education, the world of work and meaningful participation in their communities.
Learning at Wagner extends well beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to become involved in Student Senate, Connect Crew, athletics, intramurals, clubs, teams, performances and the many other activities available throughout the year. These experiences help students build confidence, form lasting relationships, develop leadership skills and strengthen their connection to our school.
We are equally proud of the inclusive nature of our school. Our staff work collaboratively to recognize and respond to the diverse learning needs of our students, including through our Interactions Program and the many supports available across the school. We want every student who enters W.P. Wagner to know that they belong, that their voice matters and that there are adults in the building who are invested in their success and well-being.
Strong relationships between the school and our families are essential to student success.
